About Us
Positive Listening Radio combines two long lost concepts in radio: we take the best of what FM radio was in the early 70s and merge it with positive music programming. No focus groups, morning zoos or homogenized formats. We’re all about great music and the artists who create, record and perform it.
With great tunes, our “News to Enthuse” and exclusive interviews with your favorite artists, Positive Listening Radio is your go-to place for good music, good news and good vibes!
We program the music of classic artists like Earth, Wind & Fire, Tower of Power, Loggins and Messina and new music from Will Champlin, Michael Bublé, Doc Kupka’s Strokeland Superband and many others. What’s more, Positive Listening Radio plays songs you’ll never hear on commercial radio by great bands like Santa Fé and the Fat City Horns, Funk Filharmonik and California Transit Authority.

Solid Numbers
In August 2009, Positive Listening Radio hit the airwaves on Live 365, the world’s largest Internet radio network.
Eight weeks later we were ranked in the top 5% in our genre and the top 25% of all stations on Live 365. In November, Live 365 selected us as a featured station in three genres: Pop, Classic Rock and Rock.
Since December 2009, we have remained in the top half percentage of all stations in our genre and in the top 10% of over 10,000 stations that stream on Live 365. We are proud to have listeners in 34 countries.
Our audience primarily consists of middle class working families and professional musicians. Many of the artists we feature on Positive Listening Radio are not just an important part of our format, they’re also our listeners!
